University's Scholarship Scheme for Continuing Undergraduate Students
To recognize and honor continuing undergraduate students (“continuing students”) at HKUST with outstanding academic performance, the University launched the University’s Scholarship Scheme for Continuing Undergraduate Students (“the Scheme”) in 2009/10 academic year. The Scheme has been run successfully and welcomed by students. The Scheme’s eligibility and award level have been revised for the 2014/15 intakes and onwards so as to channel the resources to other kinds of scholarships. To further honor high achieving students, a 2-tier award level system has been endorsed by the Committee and would be adopted starting from 2016/17 academic year.
Award Levels and CGA Requirements
The University's Scholarship Committee reviewed the Scholarship Scheme for Continuing Undergraduate Students with regard to its financial impact on the overall scholarship resources and the students' academic performance trend. The Committee has decided to revise the Scheme's eligibility and award level starting from 2014/15 intakes so as to channel the resources to other kinds of scholarships. Continuing students admitted in 2014/15 and thereafter whose CGAs as of Summer Term of the previous academic year in the top 10th percentile of all continuing UG students will be eligible for application.
Award Levels and CGA Requirements for 2024/25 academic year:
