Hong Kong Initiative for Diversity Scholarship Programs for Students of Diverse Ethnic Backgrounds

The Hong Kong Initiative for Diversity (HKID) is pleased to announce the scholarships application for outstanding youths from diverse ethnic backgrounds. This initiative seeks to recognise academic excellence, encourage aspiration, and provide meaningful support to students who have been historically underrepresented in higher education in Hong Kong.

 

Scholarships Offered

  • Ho and Fung Charitable Foundation Scholarship (HK$15,000)
    Exclusively for first-year university students, awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance and financial need.
  • Amber Foundation Scholarship (HK$15,000)
    Open to female students in their 3rd or 4th year of university, this scholarship aims to support career success through leadership development.
  • Dr. Wong Kam-kuen Charity Act Scholarship for Chinese Performance (HK$1,500)
    This award recognises first-year university students who demonstrate exceptional Chinese language performance in public examinations.
