Late application submission for Government Grant/Loan (TSFS/FASP) and Non-means-tested Loan (NLSFT/NLSPS) 2025/26

TSFS /NLSFT* Late Applications after 31 Dec 2025

(*applicable to full-time local undergraduates and postgraduates studying UGC-funded courses)

 

The 2025/26 TSFS/NLSFT online application form will be available at "eWFSFAA" (https://ewfsfaa.gov.hk) until 31 Dec 2025 (Wednesday). No online applications for the TSFS and NLSFT can be made after the said date.  Students who wish to apply for the TSFS and / or NLSFT should be advised to submit their online application as soon as possible.


TSFS
Students who would like to submit a late application after 31 Dec 2025 should call the Student Finance Office's (SFO) hotline directly at 2152 9000 for assistance.  All late applications would only be considered on individual merits and processed for circumstances that are beyond the control of individual applicants.  For instance, individual applicants experienced serious financial hardship as a result of drastic change in family’s financial situation in recent months.  For such circumstances, applicants are required to provide documentary proofs to substantiate their claims.  Institution chop is NOT required on the explanation letter and covering of the TSFS application form.  In any event, SFO will not handle 2025/26 applications received after 31 Mar 2026.


NLSFT
Starting from 1 Jan 2026, students who have genuine need to apply for the NLSFT loan should download and print the application form from SFO website and submit the duly completed form together with all the required documents to the NLSFT Application Processing Unit (APU) by post or through the drop-in boxes at the SFO.  All late applications should be supported with written explanation which will be considered on individual merits.  They would only be processed for circumstances that are beyond the control of individual applicants.  No institution’s support is required. In any event, no NLSFT application will be accepted after 31 March 2026. For further assistance of NLSFT applications, students should call the SFO hotline at 2150 6222.

 


 

FASP/NLSPS** Late Applications after 16 Jan 2026

(**applicable to full-time local undergraduates studying locally-accredited self-financing post-secondary education programmes at degree level )

 

The 2025/26 FASP/NLSPS application E-submission platform will be closed w.e.f. 17 Jan 2026 (Sat).

 

FASP

Late applicants who wish to submit their applications after 16 Jan 2026 should contact the SFO (Tel: 3102 3651/ 3102 3652) for obtaining application forms through email. Endorsement chop from institutions are NOT required. Applicants should submit their late applications to Application and Hotline Unit by 31 Mar 2026 [Address: 12/F, One Mong Kok Road Commercial Centre, 1 Mong Kok Road, Kowloon (near Exit A2 of Mong Kok MTR Station)]. All late applications would only be processed for circumstances that are beyond the control of individual applicants and will only be considered on individual merits.   Applicants must give detailed justifications with documentary proofs for their late applications in writing.  In any case, late applications together with all necessary supporting documents must reach the SFO by 31 Mar 2026 (Tuesday)

 

NLSPS

Late applicants can download the application form [NLSPS 2B(2025)] from WFSFAA's website after 16 Jan 2026. Institution's stamp is NOT required on the late application. The application form and the required documents should be submitted to the SFO by post or using the SFO drop-in boxes located on 11/F (during office hours) or in the G/F lift lobby (outside office hours) of the Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices. Details will be announced on the WFSFAA's website. All late applications would only be processed for circumstances that are beyond the control of individual applicants and will only be considered on individual merits.   Applicants must give detailed justifications with documentary proofs for their late applications in writing.  In any case, late applications together with all necessary supporting documents must reach the SFO by 31 Mar 2026 (Tuesday)
