Information Session of HSBC Scholarships |
The Hongkong Bank Foundation has been nurturing future leaders with different academic or socioeconomic backgrounds since the launch of the first scholarship scheme in 1965. It’s the goal of the Foundation to continue enriching the young talent pool with opportunities to grow through different flagship scholarship programmes in the city. Scholarship opportunities for UST students in 2026 include (details subject to final confirmation by HSBC):

HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship |
Eligible for local full-time undergraduate students who have a strong commitment to Hong Kong and active in community service. Each awardee will receive a scholarship of HKD50,000. |

HSBC Global Scholarship |
The Scholarship Scheme aims to support the internationalisation of Hong Kong universities.
Eligible for non-final year local full-time undergraduate students who aspire to study at a renowned university in the Mainland China or overseas. The maximum scholarship value is HKD300,000 per awardee. |

Innovation and Technology Scholarship Scheme |
Under a joint sponsorship with the Innovation and Technology Commission of the HKSAR Government, HSBC and The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups launched the Innovation and Technology Scholarship Scheme in 2011 to support Hong Kong’s transition to an innovation hub.
Eligible for non-final year local undergraduates who study science, engineering and health-related subjects. Awardees will receive HK$150,000 each to participate in a series of initiatives, including Overseas/ Mainland Attachment Programme, Mentorship Programme, Local Internship Programme and Service Project Programme. |

You are invited to the Info Session for HSBC Scholarships on 10 November 2025. Representatives from HSBC and InnoTech Secretariat will give you an update on the coming Scholarship opportunities. Scholarship awardees will also come to share their experience during the session. Interested LOCAL students are strongly encouraged to attend.
