Personal Finance Ambassador Programme 2024/25

The Personal Finance Ambassador Program 2024/25 is sponsored by HKEX Foundation through a donation to The Community Chest and co-organised by Investor and Financial Education Council and St. James’ Settlement. The programme offers an enriching experiences to participants through extensive professional training in different areas, execution of a meaningful project that creates a positive impact on their peers, and engagement with the public or secondary school students to educate the audience about personal finance management.

 

Students are required to form a team consist of 3 to 5 members from the same tertiary institution (a cross-discipline team is encouraged). They will be trained and becoming the Personal Finance Ambassadors. Each team will develop and implement a financial education project on the specified theme "Money trap 理財Check一Trap", which relates to the practice of managing one's financial resources in a way that avoids falling into the "money trap" and raises awareness of habits that may reduce financial resources.

 

Each team will be given a HK$5,000 budget to develop and implement a financial education project to promote the theme among their fellow schoolmates. The shortlisted teams will be awarded Ambassador Certificates. Six outstanding teams will be invited to present their projects at the Presentation and Award Ceremony and compete for the Excellent Financial Education Project Awards and prizes up to HK$20,000.

 

Program period:

October 2024 - February 2025

The enrolment form together with the financial education project proposal should be submitted by email to will.kwok@sjs.org.hk no later than 25 September 2024.
